�Mother Daughter God� is a visual representation of the power of the archetypical female. I painted it in 2012. It is a mixed media acrylic painting done on tarpaper. This painting measures 108″ in height and is 36″ wide. The deep red, rich background in this painting embodies the body�s life force (blood,) and the essence of this iconic female. Mother Daughter God represents the quintessential matriarch, mother, female, maternal, and nurturing force of creation. Golden rays of energy and light beam from her feet (Mother - earth,) from her womb (Daughter - physical body,) and from her head, crown (God - spirit, exo, infinity.) There is a nonchalant look on Her face, as She is neither impressed by nor disappointed with anything. She is solidly unaffected by outcome. She exists at the center of the universe and everything revolves and exists around her.

Her countenance ~ full lips and big eyes ~ is accompanied by a curvaceous body with large breasts, strong shoulders, wide hips, and shapely legs.
She is a sensor. She is sensual, which is not to be confused with sexual. A powerhouse and the purposeful bringer of life, she is reserved, with a tilted head, and arms thrown over her head. Her retiring pose is comforting. Her closed eyes depict the ability to see beyond the physical realm. She is the balancer and equalizer, the Alpha and Omega. She is Mother, Daughter, God.

Layers of glazes provide depth and allow you to discover more and more, when viewing the painting from various vantage points. The narrative changes throughout the day and night, in different lighting, and during various solar or lunar phases.

�Mother Daughter God� is initially stunning, then soothing and finally humbling. She soars upward and makes your head bend back while taking in the full nine feet of this composition. She is poised, natural, nude, and beautiful. She is peaceful and serene. Wearing only the colors of her variegated skin, she represents Nubian women across the diaspora. There are three 3-D elements to this painting and they are the lips, the breasts, and the vagina. The fabrication is burlap.
