These KWANZAA ART CARDS by CLE are collectibles. They allow you to collect art and a Kwanzaa keepsake at the same time. Kwanzaa, an African American Cultural Holiday is a Celebration of Family, Culture, and Community which takes place during the Nguzo Saba (Seven Days) - from December 26 through January 1. Day 1 = Umoja (Unity); Day 2 = Kujichagulia (Self-Determination) Day 3 = Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility); Day 4 = Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics); Day 5 = Nia (Purpose); Day 6 = Kuumba (Creativity); Day 7 = Imani (Faith).
The stages of the design on this card are: Stage One - Acrylic Painting; Stage Two - Digital Photograph; and Stage Three - Digital Art. Enjoy! This ArtCard can be framed and kept by family for years to come.
The greetings are to reinforce awareness of and commitment to the Seven Principles. It is: "Habari gani?" and the answer is each of the principles for each of the days of Kwanzaa, i.e., "Umoja", on the first day, "Kujichagulia", on the second day and so on.
