Hi Odd. You are right... it was all three of those experiences... all rolled up in one. Many emotions stirred up as the nearby cotton fields whispered stories of my ancestors in the winds. During my six-week teaching artist residency - with middle school youth - I also had some of the most memorable moments of my career as an educator. Heartfelt, human, humbling. Peace. ~ CLE
